Dietmar Erwin Ruttensteiner is the founder and managing director of Ruttensteiner GmbH, a consulting firm based in Upper Austria specializing in market entry and company formation services. Born in 1971 in Steyr, Austria, he is married and the father of two adult children. After completing his education in electronics and IT, he founded his first company at the age of 22 and has since developed it into a respected business consulting agency.
In 1993, he established his first B2B IT service company, which evolved in the early 2000s into Ruttensteiner Business Consulting. Since then, the firm has provided comprehensive support for company formation, business setup, and market entry in Austria—renowned for its efficient, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach. The company’s services include not only consulting but also operational management, acting as interim managing director, sales development, accounting, and payroll support. Over the years, Mr. Ruttensteiner has successfully assisted clients from more than 24 countries and various industries, and he currently holds management or ownership positions in multiple Austrian companies.
In addition to his consulting career, Mr. Ruttensteiner has served as a municipal councillor for European affairs, a member of the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber, and an Expert lay judge (Fachkundiger Laienrichter) at the Labour and Social Court of Steyr. His international experience spans the UK, USA, Brazil, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Pakistan, and China, and he regularly delivers lectures abroad on market entry strategies in Austria.
